ELLIOTT® TO HOST "NUTS AND BOLTS OF APPRAISING" |
|
For
the 10th consecutive year, ELLIOTT® & Company Appraisers will host a
continuing education seminar. The next seminar, which we have entitled
"Nuts and Bolts of Appraising," will run March 3-4 at the conference
facility of Greensboro Regional Realtors Association at 23 Oak Branch
Drive in Greensboro. Joe Durrer, MAI, SRA, of Roanoke, VA, will conduct the 14-hour course. Mr. Durrer has served as the chairman of the Virginia Real Estate Board and President of the Virginia Association of Real Estate Appraisers during his illustrious five-decade career and is widely respected as an author and instructor in his profession. His entertaining, as well as professional, style of teaching has made him popular with appraisers at our past seminars. This year the subjects being covered are (1) Appraising the Nuisance/Residue Parcels, (2) The Practicality of the Income Approach, (3) Appraising Vacant Land and Incorporating Subdivision Development and (4) Oh! Those Common Errors We Make. The seminar is expected to draw appraisers from all over North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. |
